Talking How to make a trapezoid in Inkscape

This isn't a request for help, just a place for anyone with the same problem I had to find the answer...

To create a trapezoid in Inkscape:

    1. Draw a rectangle.
    2. In the Path menu choose Object to Path.
    3. Switch to the Node tool.
    4. Click on one of the corners of the rectangle which is on the side you wish to make longer or shorter.
    5. Use one of the arrow keys to move it left/right or up/down and count the number of times you press the key.
    6. Select the corner on the other end of the side you are modifying.
    7. Press the arrow key in the opposite direction you used in step 5 the same number of times.

Congratulations! You now have a perfectly symmetrical trapezoid!
