right alt left arrow for back one page in karmic?

Im very used to using right alt Plus the left arrow as the back shortcut for firefox but this doest seem to work in karmic

dose anyone know of a way to re-enable this shortcut?

Open "System -> Preferences -> Keyboard".

Click the Layouts tab, then click the Layout Options button.

Under "Key to choose 3rd level", check "Right Alt key never chooses 3rd level" and uncheck the others. (That worked for me; you might wanna experiment.)

It seemed that tree of options for me was highlighted as if i had changed it, I dont remember doing so, but maybe i hit something by accident, or maybe its because i use a different layout (same problem on a couple PCs)
