Rise of the Triad (ROTT)

Somewhere in synaptic, I found Rise of the Triad--one of my favorite old-timey classic games. I would be playing the game right now, except that there aren't really any instructions on where to put the game content so that the game could actually be played, and everything I've tried hasn't worked so far.

I've tried putting all of the .wad's and other files in the share/Iforgetwhat/ folder, and some other folders that I also forgot. But I get the same error in the terminal:

past all the files you un-archived into the /usr/share/games/rott directory. You will have to sudo to do it
