    No VLC menus in Unity

    Hi Everyone,

I'm having a small problem using VLC, my favorite movie player while running Unity. I'm using an Asus 1005PE netbook running Maverick Meekrat. When a movie is playing, many of the menus, specifically the Audio and Video menus have all of their options greyed out, making it impossible to change audio tracks, etc. This doesn't happen playing the same file in Gnome media player, or in VLC when the netbook is in 2D mode. I'm using VLC 1.1.4 from the PPA. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with Ubuntu Netbook 10.10. I have the video menu but all options are grayed and unavailable. This is really annoying because I can't select subtitles. Any suggestions?

Same problem. You can work around it by using the right click menu. (Subtitles are under video).
