How to burn MOD to DVD

I have a JVC DV camera which produces MOD file, I know they are mpeg with special codec, I can play back with mplayer no problem, but I can't burn to DVD with K3B it does not support this format, is there any burner support that ? or where to get plugin for that ?

Don't have any .mod files but have you tried just renaming with a .mpg or .mpeg extension?
