    Microsoft VPC

I'm thinking about switching to Ubuntu (possibly when the new version is released) and I have 8.04 desktop edition burned onto a disk, and I tried to install it on Microsoft VPC to check Ubuntu out and I get a error.

This happens when I try to install Ubuntu.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Personally, I hadn't tried Ubuntu on M$ VPC. But here's a link from Ubuntu Community on How To - Configure Ubuntu for Microsoft Virtual PC 2004. The instructions on that link should work on the version of VPC you're using.

    HTH.
Steady movement is more important than speed, much of the time. So long as there is a regular progression of Stimuli to get your mental hooks into, there is room for lateral movement. Once this begins, its rate is a matter of discretion.

Try adding noreplace-paravirt as a boot option
