gutsy upgrade and buggy fire fox

ok so im still running on the last beta of hardy and was wondering weather i am running on the latest or if i have to install the latest release of ubuntu hardy. would it be possible from synaptic?? i heard that you can upgrade from other versions to hardy by adding the hardy repository into the source list but i dont know how it would work in my case.

Also i am having a bit of a problem with the fire fox3 beta 5 where it randomly crashes and i have to restart fire fox. I noticed this a lot while loading up pages that require flash player. How would i fix this?
