WINE with acid?

Now it's september 2011, still doesnt work, even the old one Acid reports error wright away, when you install. It opens the program, but no sound though, and some weird black lines, when manipulating.

Shame

Any ideas? or different experiences?

The probhlem is i have some old acid projects, that i want to awake, and I dont want to install windows, thow I will have to, if i don't find the other solution.

It's now getting nearer the end of 2012.

I've been wanting Acid Pro 4 to run in wine since 2004. I know it was before .NET ********, also it was before Sony bought out the product and installed the $SYS$ trojan they bundled with their CD's (remember that lawsuit? Well they put the same malware in that program after they bought it out...I was amazed to see it in there, I've never seen anything in the media about it.)

I just want this program to work more than any other because it's the dog's bollocks for mashups.

I don't think it will ever happen though.

edit:Also, what the hell? I can't edit my profile to say I'm using 12.04 because I have under 50 posts? Lame as hell.
