I use a Mobile Edge backpack. It has been really solid. I use it to take my lappy to class (I hate having to print out 20+ slide powerpoints all the time) and there's lots of room for stuff besides the laptop in the bag.

I've got a laptop backpack from samsonite with a compartment which is suitable for my 13" laptop (suitable for 12-17 inch I'd say). I can put a lot of other stuff in there as well. I believe it has a life long warranty. I'm happy with it.
I have a Timbuk2 messenger bag. I am looking for a sleeve for my T61 14.1w that fits in there though. I really like the bag!

I just bought an OGIO Metro bag from Bagking here in the US. Wanted to get the Ubuntu one, but couldn't justify the DOUBLE price and then the shipping.
I got it in the red.

I have a Swissgear backpack. It's called the Synergy. Did a lot of shopping around before I chose it. I ended up buying it off of Amazon.com because it was cheaper than buying it at a local store. Here's the link to it: http://www.amazon.com/SYNERGY-SwissG...9305441&sr=8-1
