Hey, Just a thought.... Has anyone created a guide that explains the basics of using Ubuntu? You know, a sort of newbie guide or pamphlet... If not, anyone interested in collaborating on it?
I think what you're looking for is at: https://help.ubuntu.com/ : )

*Shakes fist angrily* Curse you Ubuntu! Curse you for being so people oriented!!!! Sorry... that was my best Bill Gates impersonation.
nice impersonation! We'll, even though there is a how-to guide, maybe we should make our own to handout for our next TIE conference, and for the free software day. -Andrew
Thanks! I try my best. That would be a great idea, though, something to pass out, bundled with our copies of Ubuntu... almost like a "Starter Kit" sort of thing... 1 - Ubuntu 2 - Starter Guide 3 - Sticker or something (Like what comes in Shipit)
Yeah, and with the "starter kit", we could include info on how to contact us if they need help.
