Welcome! We haven't been real busy lately, but hopefully that will all change.
Hiya Wheels,
Things have been a little hectic here. WIfe just had a baby and then I have been setting up some computers for a couple libraries and churches with Ubuntu. Nice to see someone else local. I need to go over what I have already done and get the rest of the process kicked back into high gear now that I have a few minutes again
Currently working with a few places to try and get up a install-fest setup. Hoping I can get this moving along soon.

I hear ya man and I want to congratulate you and your wife on a new baby . I have a newborn nephew myself (6wks old). What you mean you have to go over what you have already done? What you referring to.
Well I would like to get a group together myself as im a newbie to Linux (few months into Linux let alone new to Ubuntu lol). I will be right up front im very new. So I would love to learn what I can from others and meet others and go from there. Im wondering who out there uses Xubuntu personally. Cuz I would love to furnish Xubuntu CD's. I could burn a ton and have the Xubuntu Logo in the jewel cases and distribute them. I just ordered some Ubuntu CD's though.
Ok, how do I join the Maine team?
I don't see an easy way to join the NU loco team either. At least from Launchpad page

Ah! More Mainers! I'm in Portland, recently re-switched to full time Ubuntu. When I replaced my desktop with a laptop I ran into wireless issues that I couldn't resolve... until the release of Feisty. Yay!
I guess I should chime in here, too. It looks like we're having a bit of activity coming back to the forum! Possibly we have enough people around to get organized?
