    Menu bar like Mac os

I know Unity s still around and i like it but all i really want is the top Gnome bar to act like the menu bar on apps because i don't like two bars on my desktop.
Is there anyway i can do that with a default install of Ubuntu?

Both Kubuntu and Ubuntu Budgie have mac like global menu applets which is what I think you are asking about. There is an extension for gnome, but I don't if or how well it works on the latest Ubuntu.

If you want to combine apps and a menu on one panel there is the dash to panel extension. Unity has a global menu and that's what I thought you were asking about.

Yes a global menu that's what it's called i just don't like having two bars at the top and as nice as it is i'm not wanting to make Ubuntu look like a Mac.

    Thank you all
