how do i enable dpm? I'm a total noob when it comes to working with Ubuntu/Linux
also, i originally intended to run Folding@home on this machine an maybe some minor gaming like WoW, Halo: CE, Team Fortress 2, etc. I'm not expecting a miracle, but i'd like to salvage this laptop as something that's at least useful.
and basic tasks are not a problem as long as the programs i use are fully supported on Linux (i use Google Chrome and the Linux alpha release is rather wonky sometimes)
