    Talking facebook error in empathy - account already connected to server

    I am using ubuntu 12.04, and when trying to connect to my facebook account from empathy, it gets disconnected and says the account is already connected to the server. any idea?

    I tried the same with pidgin, and chat clients from my cell phone also. But the same issue. Please provide me any idea to get the issue solved.

    Have you tried signing in with your username followed by @facebook.com? This may correct the issue for you.
