Libre Base won't run?

I'm in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and have installed LibreBase from both Software Center and Synaptic. When I attempt to run it, I get a:

"This operation is not supported on this operating system".

Is this just because LibreBase has not yet been optimised for 12.04? The rest of the Libre Office suite works perfectly.

Any thoughts?

OK, solved. Had to reload the entire Libre Office Suite which included Base. Runs fine from within the suite.

Glad I didn't give up.

I am facing same issue, what did you meant with "Reload the entire LibreOffice suite"? I am not sure of what did you do to fix it.

goto command line and type:

sudo apt-get install libreoffice

worked for me
