    Seems to be OK now, just DL the 2-2 1.9g, md5sum is OK, thanks.

    P.S. Spoke too soon, crashes when I click on am icon on top. I'm going to try the 1.2 ver.

    Gnome shell is extremely glitchy. Xwayland apps don't work, and non-gtk wayland apps don't work.

    I have a native QT5 browser, I'll look into Firefox, but as far as I am aware, it still makes X calls

    @nerdopolis

    Finally got the right checksum after hours of dl's.

    Is the SWC session supose to work ?

    It just goes back to login window.

    swc should be working. Perhaps it's hardware related issues, I only tested on Intel. (as that's all I really have). I'll bring back the logging ability, I had to temporary drop logging from user sessions...

    Once swc works, you need to press super+R to bring up dmenu or super+enter to bring up the st terminal

    I wonder if it's related to the weston-desktop-shell hang issues I've been getting on real hardware (I just noticed the issue yesterday after I pushed the ISO)

    It does not affect VirtualBox/the FB dev backend it seems.

    I was able to install it on VirtualBox which uses the Framebuffer. Try starting with a Framebuffer option. (as at least on Intel) Kernel mode setting drivers can provide a virtual /dev/fb0. Using a Framebuffer option in the Grub list when you start the live image, also passes forcefbdev to the kernel command line, which causes WaylandLoginManager to use fbdev.

    Still crashes around 13% using 640X480 framebuffer.

    Same with usb or cd.
