I wondered why there wasn't a Texas Loco team, especially in Austin where Dell is located just slightly north of here, AMD is here, and Austin for the most part is pretty tech savvy.
There are two other people in my workplace that have started using Ubuntu on their home computers which completely floored me when I found out
I'd join one, but I don't really have the knowhow to start one up, or keep it organized, plan events, etc...

It's huge. I can drive from Austin, which is more or less central Texas, to the Oklahoma border which is north, and it takes roughly 8 hours. Takes about 6-7 hours to drive south to Corpus Christi and the Gulf of Mexico.
Texas is a country unto itself, seriously....
