    Cool boot woes

before the lucid release i was quite content dual booting on my mactel 3,1 with osx. I decided during the lucid installation that i should delete the osx partition and reclaim the unused disk space. I have now 3 partitions which are

    /
    /home
    swap

nothing unusual for lucid but no boot partition reported now in the disk utility to reinstate if required. perhaps 1 deleted partition (refit or bootloader) too much!

So now i press alt when switching on to find a partition to boot from. I have looked for around 5 hrs now with no solution in sight.

Anyone point me in the right direction to simply boot into lucid
