Pulse is creating a list of files in /dev/shm folder.
The files are 64 MB each and now there are 10 of them.
I've tried to remove pulse to stop this but it wants to "gut" gnome including the session manager, applets etc.
I'd like to go back to the simple esd setup I had on earlier versions.
I was able to remove pulse from Hardy Heron with a reinstall of Gnome packages which were removed.
Is there any way around this kind of chicanery?
