    Date and Mount

I recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my computer. During the installation, I set the time to the wrong thing ( the past, Sat Feb 6, 2010). I later manually set it to the present (Mon Feb 8, 2010), but in the process my computer froze and I turned it off. When I restarted it said that the mount of the filesystem had failed and that Ctrl+D would terminate the shell and try again. I did this and it said that it could not mount the last file sytem as it was in the future (Mon Feb 8, 2010) and that now was Sat Feb 6, 2010. Any help?
