    upgrade ubuntu install kde

    i am running ubuntu 8.04 (gnome) i have
    ubuntu 9.04
    kubuntu 9.04 cds

    i would like to upgrade to ubuntu 9.04 using the cd and then install kde from the kubuntu cd aswell.

    any help appreciated

    also if anyone knows how to add xfce, i have downloaded a folder called

    xfce-4.6.1-src.tar.bz2
