Sound & Video menu is missing

    Hi.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04.2 [Hardy] on my laptop and on my workstation. On laptop everything works fine, on my workstation the Applications -> Sound & Video menu is missing.

If I go into Edit menu configuration window I can see that some options are checked as displayed under Sound & Video (K3b, VLC, Rythmbox, Sound recorder and Volume monitor). But the actual menu is not displayed.

    Thanks for help.

In System/Preferences/Main Menu, go to the top level in the left window pane, and highlight "Applications", then make sure that "Sound and Video" has a checkmark next to it in the right pane.
