    Cool share with XP

I would like to see files in a certain folder in XP with UBUNTU 8.04.
XP is connected by wireless, and UBUNTU is connected by a cable to internet.

I can see the folder in a window of Nautilus by putting 'smb://name of XPpc/' . After clicking the icon found inside, I can see all the files inside this folder.

But in Terminal,' .gvfs/crc_XP name' or' .gvfs/folder name 'shows nothing.

    I wonder why?

As long as you can access your XP files is it really a concern?

You can use the smbmount command to mount your XP drive like any other disk.

If you are just wondering, this is probably the wrong board to do it in.

My 6-year-old laptop with integrated graphics does that just fine
