Holy crap like nothing. I have it configured just how I like it.
Nothing, since it is all I have ever used I have nothing to compare it with. Like the previous post I have it set up for my own personal use.

As for me, I agree with Nighwish and Bubba64.

I hate that Canonical had to pick either Gnome or KDE to put their weight and funding behind. I like to use them both, and other systems as well. Pero, C'est la vie.
I don't understand. There's Ubuntu and Kubuntu, so GNOME and KDE are both available. You can also install them both on your machine. For example, if you start with Ubuntu, install the package kubuntu-desktop and you'll be able to choose GNOME or KDE from the login screen.

I don't hate anything about my Ubuntu install, it runs everything i want it to, and it looks exactly like how i want it to look. The only thing that irks me is that CS3 can't run in wine, and which means i have to run Vista as a dual-boot (VM isn't powerful enough for the 1GB RAM requirement for InDesign and such which i use for my school's yearbook group), but that's not an "ubuntu" problem, that's just bad luck and adobe's prerogative. If they don't want to release it natively for Linux, no one can force them.

Right. What I was implying was that a lot more work goes into one of the releases than the other. I find that to be unfortunate, even if it is logical and understandable. I'm not complaining or anything, there's plenty of other good KDE distros available for when I prefer it, but the question was asked and an answer given.
