Capturing video output sent on hdmi port to projector

Hi,
I am working on a project where I have to become an intermediate node (or process) between a projector and a laptop.


As for now, I am trying to control the video output stream sent on HDMI port to the projector. For this, I am searching for video drivers responsible for this but couldn't find it.


I need help as I don't have an exact idea of where to look, or even it is feasible or not. My initial goal is to become intermediate between my laptop and the projector.
