WIFI disappears after clean install Noble

Installed from bootable stick. Wifi clearly present and recognized during install. After install, "Settings" reports a good wifi connection. However, neither Software nor Firefox can find any servers, and there is no Wifi icon at the top of the screen. Tried installation twice, and problem remains after rebooting. Computer is Lenovo B590, ISO was from your download site, bootable stick created using Create Bootable Disk in Jammy. Windows computer on same network has no problems.

If you see wifi in settings, maybe airplane mode is on?

Problem resolved. Settings was wrong: I did not have a good connection. Logging into a different wifi gave me back the internet. Unclear why first wifi worked when booting from installation stick, not when booting from computer, or why it worked with another computer: perhaps it died in the meantime.
