I know that I'm bringing up a subject which might spark a flame war between the pro snap and anti snap groups. I'm wondering why in gods name did the Ubuntu core team decide to migrate so much of the underlying system software i.e. firefox or chromium, which i remember you could install through either apt or synaptic package manager. I'm really annoyed about this because every time I do a fresh installation of any of the Ubuntu variants of course, this is coming from a user who know both the point and click package management and the command line interface tools like apt or aptitude (nala) which I learned inside and out from my early days using Debian back in the early to mid 200's.
