Ubuntu 24.10 Oracular accented vowels does not work in Italian keyboard

the only app i found working with accented vowels is gted (gnome-text-editor)
also here keys with accented vowels does nothing but if i copy here a text with accented vowels copied from gted it works: prova ààààèèèèùùù

I cannot type at all using the hellenic keyboard even using gedit. I marked myself as affected and see how this will evolve.

I use the Latvian (apostrophe) layout for typing in Māori (uses macrons), and in the Ubuntu (Gnome) install, it's spitting out additional apostrophes which affect the following letter. (I get "whāņau" instead of "whānau")

But in an updated Xubuntu install it behaves as it always has. I'm not sure if this is the same bug or not, but I'll be watching with interest.

Maybe I need to install a fresh Xubuntu and see if it's still the same.

Problem solved also for Italian keyboard also if bug is not flagged 'Released'

I'm still getting the errors with the Latvian keyboard on a fresh install. I suppose this is a different bug and I'll file a report at some point.
