Hello, I am the team leader for an Ubuntu Magazine the Marketing team is working on. We have come to junction and would like to know if any of you have ideas for a name we want this magazine to reflect the ubuntu community and represent all the flavors of Ubuntu. we are in the process of gathering all our information in one place and I will post a link as soon as we have it straightened out. Please let us know you suggestion and why, I am looking for someting inclusive and catchy. We will have a prize for the name we'll use. The winner will get some sticker for the computer https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MarketingTeam/Shipping I know is not much, but it should encourage some of you to participate.
off the top of my head: "A Magazine for Human Beings". (a reference to the ubunutu theme and the ubuntu message (ie linux for human beings))
"Ubuntu World--Free Software, but you still have to pay for this magazine." Paul

Is there a reason you can't just go with "Ubuntu Monthly"? Why do you marketing types have to make things so complicated?

How often is it to be released? (sorry for not reading but I'm assuming monthly) Oh, and before you critisize any of my ideas I'm just spitting them out as they come to me... editting ruins any kind of creativity =\ "Ubuntu Monthly Archive" "THE Community" or "THE Community Magazine" "Ubuntu Community Forum" (See definition for forum before anyone flames me: "# A medium of open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper or a radio or television program. ) "Ubuntu Articles Monthly" "Read: Ubuntu" "Archive: Ubuntu" "Forum: Ubuntu" (reversing these names is acceptable as well, I just don't feel like typing it) "Community Speak" "Ubuntu topics" "Ubuntu Talk" "Ubuntu Line" "Apex Ubuntu" "Ubuntu Community Connections" "Connect: Ubuntu" "Message: Ubuntu" "Ubuntu People" "Ubuntu Communal" "Ubuntu Village" "Ubuntu Society" "Ubuntu Digest" "Ubuntu Halo" "Ubuntu Clique" "Around Ubuntu" I like some of them... they're definitely not all useable... but there they are.
