I started with Breezy Badger.
I can remember getting free CD's from ship it, I think I got like 6 or 7 of them and
was giving them out and still have some laying around in the covers they came in.
Yes rebooting did solve.

So gmone-schedule is no more.
I did install the 'when' package but I would like to install the 'The When Wizard'

In the past I have had my computer 'say the time' using gnome-schedule.
Got a newer system and using cosmic I see that gnome-schedule is no
longer used.

I used the link provided and have always installed using gdebi package installer.
I have 4.16rc1 installed(using) but rc2 & rc3 giving error.
Trying to install the 4.16 kernel.
Getting this from terminal:
dpkg: error: unable to read filedescriptor flags for <package status and progress file descriptor>: Bad file descriptor
I tend to use this method during testing cycles:
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade

Not sure if I missed something happening but rc5 boots just fine.
After the grub screen I'm just getting a cursor in the upper left corner of screen.
Not sure what happened but a 'hard' shutdown...
