Just installed kernel 3.3-rc1 and guess what...suspend/resume works without having to hibernate first! The downside is the gma500...

I moved the 99video....but just tried moving it back and hey presto - it still resumes ok! So for me at least the 99video file doesn't need to be moved.

Still scratching my head as to why this...
