I've always said Oo-buntu.

I say oo bun too, but it is pronounced oo boon too.

It's been almost 2 years since I've seen a thread like this.
I pronounce it 'oo(as in tooth)-bun-too'. That's just the way I've always pronouced it.

I;ve called is oo-bun-2 since the beginning
oo-boon-2 sounds like a teletuby saying. I know that's how it is said, but i still call it the way i always have.

yes, i pronounced it this way too and still do out of habit but i was made aware of the correct way the first time i watched the vid in the examples folder the first time i booted up a Ubuntu Live CD. i try to pronounce it correctly but like i said, occasionally i catch myself saying it as oo-bun-2.
