Are you sure you followed all the steps? What hardware do you use? Note that epsxe is made for i386 (common pc). If you use amd64 or powerpc it might not work.Originally Posted by eddymacuser

Thx a lot
Maybe there is a workaround to run the program anyway?
I don't think there is, but you can always try searching google for it.
A little sad thing about epsxe is that it's closed source, an executable file that only run on the platform it was compiled on.
There is another linux psx emulator, PCSX, that is open source. If you have the time you can try compile and run it. The reason I haven't tried it is because I'm used to epsxe from when using windows and it works nice on my computer.

Hi, is there a way for me to get my own Bios File from my PS2? I have the SCPH-30001(Camped out for it on release day) I also have a PSOne. My PS2 is hooked up with a Network Adaptor trew my router. I'm really wanteing to Play Xenogears again hehe.
Nice i like the guide and was very easy to follow. I even found the bios files pretty easy too!
Wow, this is really cool, think i'll try it when i get home.
I am a bit concerned my computer won't be up to it though... 850 mHz processor and 512 MB PC 133 memory. Would that be enough to run PS2 or even PS1 games?
And what do you do about joypads?
Does this support PS2 games? i tried it but it just stalled, do i need the PS2 bios?
i own both PS1 and PS2, i fancy a bit of Grand theft auto on the move
thanks
Nino
