I would like to get a good first person shooter I would prefer to run in wine but will use cedega. Any suggestions? I have a Athlon x64 2.5GHz dual core 2gig ram and a Geforce 6150 256MB also are there any native linux shooters out there?

I'd say Nexuiz is a pretty excellent first person shooter that is Linux native and in the Ubuntu repos. Your specs should be more than enough.
There are many free native linux FPS games available to choose from.
Sauerbraten
(in the repos, a newer version is available here)
Urban Terror
Get it here
Assault Cube
Get it here
World of Padman
Get it here
Quake 3
If you have quake3 on CD, it can run in Ubuntu with the help of ioquake3 (a native q3 engine for Linux), get it here
Postal 2
Free multiplayer online / LAN game, get it here
Nexuiz (see post above)
There are also native Linux clients for Quake 4, Quake Wars, Unreal Tournament 2004, Doom 3, Quake 2, Quake 1, Doom 1 / 2.
Halflife 2 will run in wine.
Work smart, not hard.
All of the above but I'll put a STRONG vote on Nexuiz. Not to say the other FPS's are bad but Nexuiz is the only one so far that I've started playing after years of UT2004 and the like and been totally comfertable playing.
For single player get quake 4, runs native on linux
Or Doom3, both which are excellent games no WINE needed.
For multiplayer there are lots of good options listed above
I'll put my vote in for Urban Terror. Amazing game, even when using WINE to run the windows version (which is stupid, since you can just download a linux version).
FlyingIsFun1217
I've been playing Team Fortress 2 (steam) which is running flawlessly under wine. Excellent multi player game.
