How do i cancel this compiling?!?!?

I love E17, but i do not find it worth 7 hours of compiling!
How do i stop the process?
Every time i try to rune sudo apt-get install anything it says that i have to run sudo dpkg --configure -a and then the compiling resumes.
I hate this and i wish to cancel it, how do i do that?!?!?

Edit: Ignore, didn't read post properly.

Can you sudo apt-get remove or sudo apt-get purge it? Or do you still get the same message?
