    problem booting m3a78-emh

    Hey everybody,
Not sure if this is the right forum for this or not but you guys have fixed all my ubuntu issues in the past.
I just got done building my first comp, specs are:
    Asus M3A78-EMH HDMi
    AMD Phenom BE 9850 (2.5 x4)
    Patriot DDR
    OCZ Vindicator, blah, blah

So anyways my question is that I haven't upgraded my monitor yet and I still have a vga. I turned the comp on and all the fans come on, and I've doubled checked the connections, they all seem right. But I don't get any display at all.

So did I do something real rookie like? maybe this sounds stupid but I kinda figured bios was built in.

btw I'm gonna run 8.04 if it ever gets goin. thanks in advance guys.

in case anybody else had this problem, its real simple, the mobo only supports up to a phenom x4 9600...not the 9850... ****
