Convert avi to dvd with mac
Hey guys. my friend just got an imac, and i'm havin difficulties finding a program to convert avi to dvd for him. With windows, I was using ConvertXtoDVD, and with ubuntu, I use DeVeDe. I'm looking for a similar program.

I mean, i download avi movies on the internet, and i have to convert them in a dvd format to burn them on dvd so that they play on a dvd player. Like if I download the movie Freedom Writers, and i want to watch it on my tv, with my dvd player.

Without a doubt the best tool for the job is VisualHub. I use it all the time. Easy to use and quite fast with excellent quality. Just drag your avi files to the window, selct the DVD tab and hit start.

iSquint is really a nice converter, but it has been discountinued and no upgrade any more.
Then we have to look for other tools like this video converter for mac which is awesome.
