We don't need no stinkin' dual boot.
There should be one for Edgy located in this directory, on your favorite mirror:
/ubuntu/dists/edgy/main/installer-powerpc/current/images/powerpc/netboot/

I've successfully installed Java from the Medibuntu repo. Based upon prior experience, I selected the sdk version. In order for it to run in Firefox, you will need to build the symbolic link as set out in the Wiki page. For those interested, here's what I did, with success:
In a terminal:
Code:mkdir -p ~/.mozilla/plugins cd ~/.mozilla/plugins ln -s /usr/lib/j2sdk1.5-ibm/jre/bin/libjavaplugin_oij.so
Thank you very much for this information!! I too was looking to Google for the PPC versions. I knew there had to be SOMETHING out there as I had the old Old OLD 5.10 version for PPC, but I wanted to see the newest stuff on my MAC!!

If you look at the top of the file list on this page, there is a file called "MD5SUMS".

It looks like what you got is correct (2081e7968e35480a8e3550abac3a086a).
