    My alt f2 window disappear when I enter command

    Help pls, my alt f2 window disappear when I enter any command and the comp does nothing! Ubuntu version: 20.04.5 LTS

    There could be a few reasons for this happening.

    More information like what desktop environment you use, keyboard shortcuts you might have made/changed, failed updates, hardware issues or anything else that might help us to help you would be really great.

    I tried env and free the fish command.

    Those commands won't work in the Alt+F2 run dialog.

    Open a terminal with Alt+Ctrl+T

    For env you can just enter that for a list of variables.

    For one Easter egg run apt-get moo

    Not sure how the fish trick works, sorry.

    Those are terminal commands so won't show as you expect. You will need to launch a terminal with the command being ran in it
