wine is not working on ubuntu23.04

I am using
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 23.04
Release: 23.04
Codename: lunar

and I have follow several installations guide lines but still I can't make wine to work.
keep getting the following error.
wine Setup.exe
Failed to run module constructor due to (null) assembly:C:\windows\mono\mono-2.0\lib\mono\4.5\mscorlib.dll type:TypeInitializationException membernull)

Is that happening with all .exe files or just that one?
