Graphics card Quadro P4000 display issue

Graphics card Quadro P4000 is not working properly in my work station in Ubuntu v18.4 server. Display problem occurs every time.
I have tried to update drivers also but, it's not working. It shows a black(blank) screen only after the restart. Please provide a solution for this issue.

Using open source driver for Workstation for Quadro 4000 downloaded from NVIDIA website.

why have you downloaded from the website instead of using the nvidia driver in repositories?

I have tried proprietary driver and tried to install from repositories also. But, couldn't work. Can you please provide me steps to install proprietary driver.?
