I'm running ubuntu 14.04 on an Acer Aspire MC-605; graphic Gallium 0.4 on NVD9.
For the last few weeks, the pointer has been freezing, moving to other parts of the screen and flickering. If I try and move it with my mouse, it's as if I'm fighting a magnet. It can happen immediately after booting up or any time after (from 1 minute - 20). I've tried different mouses (USB & acer cable) & the problem persists. It can happen when I'm copying / pasting heavily or not doing anything. Sometimes it works fine, but that is becoming rarer. Any suggestions on how to fix this? If I reboot the problem goes away, but not usually for long.
