    Disable The auto changing of wallpapers

    I just reinstalled Saucy, and It now changes my backround every so often, and its annoying.

    I cant figure out how to disable without downloading additional packages, which isnt my ideal solution

    It didn't do it on the last install of Saucy, that I remember

    Hello and welcome to the forums.

    Which flavour of *buntu have you installed (Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Kubuntu, etc)? Each has different desktop management capabilities.

    Open the appearance application and choose a wallpaper without the clock symbol which indicates that the wallpaper changes throughout the day. You can also use your own images from the pictures folder.

    aah...I was looking for an option....not a symbol in the preview....all good now
