Oh, sweet. I've been using Lightworks on my Windows side for about a year now, and it's been great, nice to see it finally coming to Linux.

@evilsoup: Sorry, didn't mean that you had to pay, just that it's not a simple "download here". 1st you need to register (with a valid email), 2nd you need to wait on a confirm account mail and confirm, 3rd you need to apply to become a developer (or was it tester), 4th you meed to wait till that is confirmed by mail and then finally you can download the .deb with lightworks. Oh, as a cherry on top you get a final mail with the lightworks registration key so you can install it on 5 machines (or can reinstall it 5 times after switching distros).

It's a free registration, though. Of course, the free version is rather limited in terms of codec support, but the paid version is peanuts compared to its rivals.
