Regular BIOS - Windows 8

I've been using Ubuntu 12.04 on an older PC without much issue.
I wanted to put it on my newer PC that I got with Windows 7, now with Windows 8.
It has booted from a live CD many times before, but I want to use a full desktop while keeping my current OS (my school gave it out for free).

If I use Wubi for 12.10 in Windows 8 with a regular BIOS, will I have any issues?

There should be no problems. Wubi install is just like another application install in windows such as firefox, chrome, office, etc.
