    Full openvpn backup

    Hello,
    I want to install newer distribution of ubuntu, but currently I have working openvpn server. My question is how can I backup openvpn with certificates and settings and after reinstall just only copied backup files back. Many thanks for help.

    Why are you planning to do a reinstallation? Can't just upgrade? If you upgrade it will not change your current settings. If you must do a reinstallation, I recommend that you write down all the procedures you followed to install the vpn, and reinstall it also.

    I dot want make upgrade I made lot of test a installations on this server so I want to clean new install. This not good news about backup so it does't exist any esy backup of all files and settings and after install new server simply copyed back.

    Usually everything related to OpenVPN is stored in /etc/openvpn.
