So i want to be able to use my mic (mostly with mumble) but I do not want to hear my own voice. The only thing i have been able to do so far is mute the mic in Ubuntu but that does not allow me to talk in mumble.
I have found guides for previous versions of Ubuntu versions 11.x or earlier but some of the steps shown do not seem available. I am relatively new to Ubuntu/Linux and the goal of me using Ubuntu right now is to get rdy for the official realise of steam for this client.
This mic issue is a make or break thing since i cant stand to have audio looping or hear myself 24/7
