Question Sound bar appearance: How to make popup Sound Bar a linear bar instead of pixely box

    Hi,

I recently deleted the complete indicator applet on my gnome panel. After figuring out how to get it back again, I realized that my popup sound bar is different, and there are a lot of new additions to my programs (this could just be due to a new update, but I'm not sure) Anyways, before accidentally deleting the applets on my panel, when I hit the up volume and down volume on my keyboard to change the volume, I had a nice looking linear sound bar popup. It looked something like this: Now when I hit the buttons on my keyboard, a popup comes up with an annoying, pixelly mega-phone (Please see screenshot attachment)

Is there a way I can get back the volume bar I had before?

You are more likely to get help if you supply some more info:
. What release are you running?
. Are you running Unity ir Gnome ore something else?
