    Exclamation Updating repositories...

Can anyone help me to update Luminance (Qtpfsgui) from version 1.9? I can't find any repositories for the software center. Or is there a way to get it in a .deb?
    Website for software: http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/
    Thanks, Andy

looking at that web site, I cannot seem to find a linux version to install that in besides fedora, maybe it just won't work.

    try this:

    Re: Updating repositories...

Halfway down the page at http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/

    where it says:

Users of Ubuntu 11.04 can find pre compiled binaries for i386.

    [ luminance-hdr_2.1.0-2_i386.deb ]
    [ libraw_0.13.8-2_i386.deb ]

They must also install the package libtiff_3.9.4-2_i386.deb provided.
    hope this helps.

    Usage: qmake [mode] [options] [files]

QMake has two modes, one mode for generating project files based on
some heuristics, and the other for generating makefiles. Normally you
shouldn't need to specify a mode, as makefile generation is the default
mode for qmake, but you may use this to test qmake on an existing project

    Mode:
-project Put qmake into project file generation mode
In this mode qmake interprets files as files to
    be built,
defaults to *.c; *.ui; *.y; *.l; *.ts; *.xlf; *.qrc; *.h; *.hpp; *.hh; *.hxx; *.H; *.cpp; *.cc; *.cxx; *.C
Note: The created .pro file probably will
need to be edited. For example add the QT variable to
    specify what modules are required.
-makefile Put qmake into makefile generation mode (default)
In this mode qmake interprets files as project files to
be processed, if skipped qmake will try to find a project
file in your current working directory

    Warnings Options:
-Wnone Turn off all warnings; specific ones may be re-enabled by
    later -W options
    -Wall Turn on all warnings
    -Wparser Turn on parser warnings
-Wlogic Turn on logic warnings (on by default)
-Wdeprecated Turn on deprecation warnings (on by default)

    Options:
    * You can place any variable assignment in options and it will be *
    * processed as if it was in [files]. These assignments will be parsed *
    * before [files]. *
-o file Write output to file
    -d Increase debug level
-t templ Overrides TEMPLATE as templ
-tp prefix Overrides TEMPLATE so that prefix is prefixed into the value

    parsed after [files]
-norecursive Don't do a recursive search

    Re: Updating repositories...

    sorry to complicate that, THIS:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/qtpf...6.deb/download

is much simpler, but when searching for it and finding it and opening it it doesn't give an error message but doesn't open. the

    libraw_0.13.8-2_i386.deb

download install failed, saying it was of a bad quality. I'm not sure why exactly. Maybe other dependencies are required? This would be a very good reason though why luminescence won't open

oh it looks like libtiff needs to be installed before libraw can be installed, which are both needed to run luminance hdr

    Re: Updating repositories...

First, thank you for all the responses.
Despite me trying I'm unable to install Luminance. I don't know how to compile from source, I think thats the most likely way of solving this... If someone could give me semi-detailed instructions it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Andy
Edit: Just to clarify, I tried installing those 3 binaries and everything seems to be good right up until you click on the luminance icon... Then nothing happens...
