Tried both, sofware rendering mode showed nothing, code came up with:

ViewModule at address 0x3cfbe50
Calamares:luginFactory at address FinishedViewStepFactory(0x3cfcf60)
ViewStep at address FinishedViewStep(0x3cfbbe0)

and no calamares either ?

You think its the nouveau driver ?
Maybe dl an older verson with ubiquity and do upgrade ?

Could be... and possibly the way the qtwayland qpa is using gl... try

wlsudo xwaylandapp calamares

Tried it 3 times no luck.

I tried the i386 ver and calamares crashed 2 times, third time it installed and useing it now.

I wonder why the 64b calamares does that ?

Yes, the one that installed was the i386 version, the 64b crashes.

Just D/L the new 64b again and it installed.

So...ever thought about changing the name? I know you've been asked a thousand times, but it just seems logical to me that with a more serious name you would get a more serious response to this project, as it is indeed a great project.

What's new with the 7-25 ISO ?

I guess there is nothing new, installed it and didn't see anything,

There wasn't many user visibile things that I changed: Orbital is on the ISO for the first time in a while, the wallpapers in some DE's were changed to have the same one in Weston, and the Wayland Login Manager has short descriptions for each DE, just for Orbment, and Sway to tell users the key bindings

Most of the changes are due to the fact that newer versions of Gnome, KDE, and Enlightenment are built in that ISO...
